Hallmark and Dishoom, the perfect partnership...

Published: 15/09/16

Hallmark Kitchens are extremely pleased to work with some of the UK’s leading hospitality establishments on an ongoing basis. With continuous hard work and the passion of our team, we’re able to deliver first-class catering environments and boast client loyalty to form sustainable working partnerships.

At Dishoom, we have done exactly that by understanding their business requirements and vision to create and deliver projects of which we are extremely proud. Dishoom is a growing independent multi-site restaurant group in the UK that adopts a Bombay Café style concept, which is transmitted through the menu and restaurant décor in each of their four locations across the city of London, aptly named D1, D2, D3, and D4.

Hallmark and Dishoom, the perfect partnership

After careful consideration by the owners and the Executive Chef of Dishoom, Hallmark was appointed to complete project work across the London outlets. At D1 (Shoreditch) and D2 (Covent Garden), we were tasked with the refurbishment and redesign of the catering areas. At D3 (Granary Square, Kings Cross), we enhanced the pass counter and refurbished the gantry. At D4 (Kingly Street), we delivered a complete turnkey project that included the design, supply, and installation of all catering areas.

Kevin Jennings, Director at Hallmark, commented: “We feel privileged to be working with such a fantastic team at Dishoom and long may it continue. Their concept is exciting, their operations are great, and the synergy between our two companies is apparent in each of the projects we collaborate on. It’s a pleasure to work with such a great business.”

Dishoom’s continued success and desire to grow the brand outside of London has taken them north and into the heart of Edinburgh, where Hallmark has again been commissioned to design, supply, and install the project, which is due for completion in late September, ready for staff training and menu testing before the official launch in November.
