Trinity Square, London
Hallmark is incredibly proud to have completed works at the Four Seasons Hotel at Trinity Square, London, which included the supply and installation of five unique kitchen areas spread over three floors, a staff restaurant, full laundry facility, local and centralised plate/potwash rooms, refuse/bin wash, three bespoke front of house bars, and two standalone support pantry facilities.
We were appointed by Ardmore Construction to Design Develop the SHW information, and were tasked with completing phase 1 of the project by June 2016. This task was achieved in conjunction with various sub-contractors. Phase 2 was 95% complete before Christmas 2016, leaving additional scheduled works to be completed in January 2017.
The Four Seasons Hotel is an incredible location. Located close to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and the River Thames, the hotel is full of rich history and is surrounded by the very culture of historic London. Located midway between the West End and East End, directly in the heart of London, Four Seasons Hotel is ideal for business or leisure. The five-star hotel features 100 accommodations, including 11 spacious suites, some including ornate original plasterwork and soaring ceilings. We feel privileged to have worked for such a renowned brand and proud to have been part of the team that pulled the project together.
The key challenge on this particular project was adhering to a very tight project deadline while delivering a huge installation and supply of catering equipment spread across many areas, as well as having to adapt to a change of plans when the client informed us that key areas we were working on had to be occupied ahead of the programme. Working under pressure, the Hallmark team worked tirelessly with the main contractor, architect, numerous site trades, foodservice consultants & an extensive supply chain to ensure everything was handed over on time and to specification. Needless to say, the Hallmark team reacted outstandingly to the pressure, and the project was completed ahead of the deadline to the client’s delight.
The project started on February 16th, 2016, and was completed on January 17th, 2017. The project is one of the largest catering projects carried out in London during 2016.
Andrew Arnold, Project Director at Hallmark commented:
“New and exciting hotel projects are not uncommon these days, but not many occupy such an old and historic building such as 10 Trinity Square. The brand standards benchmark required by Four Seasons is extremely high and it means we got to not only have the honour of working on such a prestigious project, there’s also the ‘smile on your face’ kudos of knowing we brought it all together. I, for one, will look back and say hand on heart, I’m proud of this one.”
